What is Friendz ?
Friendz is a mobile app that helps you meet new people in your city through small, friendly and casual events. It’s not a dating app — it’s about real social connection around shared interests like food, sport, language exchange, and more.
Is Friendz free to use ?
Yes, Friendz is completely free to download and use. Some user-created events may include costs (e.g. dinner, workshops, etc.), but the app itself doesn’t charge you anything.
Can anyone create an event ?
Yes. Once your profile is set up, you can create your own public event and invite people to join. Just keep it respectful, safe, and aligned with our community rules.
How do I join an event ?
Browse the events by category or date. If you find something you like, just tap “Join” — it’s that easy! You’ll get a confirmation and be added to the group chat.
Is there a chat for each event ?
Yes. Each event has a temporary group chat where participants can coordinate. It disappears automatically one hour after the event ends to keep things clean and private.
Can I delete my account ?
Yes. You can request to delete your account and personal data at any time.
Is my personal information visible to others ?
No. Other users only see your first name, age (not your full birthdate), photo, and interests. Your gender and other personal data are private.
Is Friendz a dating app ?
No. Friendz is all about friendship and shared experiences, not romantic connections. Any inappropriate behavior will lead to suspension or account removal.
Can I host events with alcohol or parties ?
You can organize casual afterwork or music events, but you’re responsible for keeping it respectful. Events with excessive or unsafe behavior are not allowed.
