About the founder
Sawasdee krap
I’m Guillaume, a French tech entrepreneur who swapped cold code for tropical vibes and real human connections in the heart of Bangkok.
After years as an IT engineer in Europe, I landed in Thailand chasing sunshine, freedom, and meaningful connections. What I found was a vibrant city full of stories, smiles, and people ready to connect beyond the screen.
That’s why I created FriendZ to help expats, locals, and curious souls meet effortlessly, whether over street food, a language exchange, or a spontaneous coffee. It’s all about turning strangers into friends and making every encounter memorable.
When I’m not coding or designing, you’ll find me café hopping through Bangkok’s hidden gems, chatting with strangers who often become friends, or chasing sunsets from rooftops to riversides. I love discovering little corners of the city that most people overlook and sharing those experiences with new friends.
Fun fact: I once tried to order coconut water in Thai and somehow ended up with a foot massage. Still worth it!
Let’s make Bangkok feel smaller, warmer, and way more friendly.
